- What is a registered account?
- In Canada, registered accounts (like RRSP, TFSA, and FHSA) are savings vehicles with special tax rules set by the federal government. This tool models how they fit your plan but does not recommend specific products.
- What do the scenario chips mean?
- Conservative, base, and optimistic scenarios show how your projections might change if investment returns or other assumptions are lower or higher than the middle estimate. They are illustrations, not forecasts.
- How should I read projections?
- Treat numbers as educational illustrations based on the assumptions you confirmed — not guarantees. Focus on whether the direction of change makes sense and what questions to bring to a qualified professional.
- What if I don't know my RRSP balance?
- Say so in the intake chat, connect external accounts where your investments are held, or upload a spreadsheet. The tool will flag missing pieces and ask you to confirm before anything runs.
- Who can see my data?
- Only you. Profiles, transcripts, and runs are tied to your account with server-side ownership checks. Sensitive fields are encrypted before they are stored.
- Can I delete my data?
- Yes. You can delete individual intakes or runs, or remove your entire account and all associated data from the dashboard.
- Where is my data stored?
- On managed cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States. Sensitive fields are encrypted at the application layer before they are stored, so the database provider only ever holds ciphertext for them. Cross-border handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
